Trying it Again

Hello to everyone. A year ago, I started the Women in Overalls blog. At first, things went slow, then picked up to an almost insane pace, and the site ended the year with nearly 150,000 hits according to StatCounter. In response to the traffic I was receiving, I updated with many photos every day. The effects of this were twofold: by the time I posted many of the pics I had found, they had already been posted on other sites, and I ran out of pics to post roughly six months after beginning the site. In other words, I wasn't posting quick enough, and I was posting too quick simultaneously. Coincidentally, after running out of pics, I also ran out of a job, so to speak. For the next few months while searching for a job, I didn't have the time I did during school to search for pics, and gave up posting. I posted here and there on Overalls2k's forum, a site I personally greatly enjoy, but that was it.

Also during my off time, Blogger switched to a new format. I tried to switch my account over, and to make a long story short, I screwed it up somehow. Although I didn't change my user info, I now get a message from Blogger telling me my password is incorrect; upon trying to change my password, Blogger informs me that my username does not exist in their database. And to say the least, Blogger help is of no help. I'm not sure exactly what happened, so I have used this opportunity to begin anew. My first blog will remain at the old location, but since I cannot access it, it will not be updated again.

That being said, I would like to take this opportunity to thank and apologize to everyone who helped me make my old site what it was. I ignored my yahoo email because I simply had way way too much to do. I enjoyed all of the relationships I developed through the course of my old site, and would love to continue to foster them.

Now, the objective for this site will be something similar, but not exactly similar. I still will post pics that I find or that are submitted, provided they are not on every other overalls site on the web. Also, I intend to recruit women that I know from my daily life to model overalls for the site. This will, however, be a tall order; whether I can convince them to assist in this remains to be seen. If I can do this I can provide a unique experience for my guests, and hopefully make this site as great, if not greater, than my old site.

P.S. It'll take me a while to get my template back up to speed, seeing as how I cannot access my old blog. This means I'll have to code everything again.
